Furthermore, it is important for educators teaching this way to have a sense of commitment towards social justice, rather than being neutral or indifferent in relation to issues that affect people’s lives inside schools as well as outside them. It is believed that through critical thinking, the individual would gain respect for fellow human beings; develop self-worth; come up with new ways of solving problems; show increased tolerance towards different viewpoints, and become more critical in making decisions.
